Covid Vaccines Available At Northshore Medical

Northshore Medical Center is informing the public that they offer both the Moderna Spikevax Bivalent and Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccines.

A representative said, “We are encouraging the public to continue getting their vaccinations to keep themselves and their families safe. Your vaccine is as essential as you are. We are excited at the responses from our patients, who were excited that we are providing them with this option on our campus, their one-stop shop. Especially excited are our senior population, those immunocompromised, with chronic conditions, and our healthcare workers.”

Covid Vaccines Northshore Medical Center Bermuda November 18, 2022

“Northshore Medical Center offers two vaccines to Bermuda’s residents who meet the following criteria:

Pfizer Covid-19 Vaccine

  • Patients aged 18 and above are eligible for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd dose. The time between the 1st and 2nd dose must be at least 21 days. The time between the 2nd dose and 3rd dose booster must be at least five months.
  • Residents 50 years or older, and immunocompromised residents are eligible for a 4th or subsequent dose of the COVID-19 vaccine provided their 3rd dose or the previous dose was at least five months ago.
  • Health and essential care workers are eligible for a 4th or subsequent dose of the COVID-19 vaccine provided their 3rd dose or the previous dose was at least five months ago.

Moderna Spikevax Bivalent Covid-19 Vaccine

  • All persons aged 18 years and older can receive the Spikevax bivalent COVID-19 booster vaccine. They must have already received two doses of an approved Covid-19 vaccine.
  • Priority groups include: 3.2.1. Health and essential care workers are eligible for a 4th or subsequent dose of the COVID-19 vaccine provided their 3rd dose, or the previous dose was at least five months ago.
  • Residents 50 years or older, and residents of Long-Term Care facilities are eligible for a 4th or subsequent dose of the COVID-19 vaccine provided their 3rd dose or the previous dose was at least five months ago.
  • Persons aged 18 years & older who have chronic health-related problems, e.g., heart or lung disease, asthma, diabetes, renal, hepatitis or neurologic disorders, sickle cell anemia, or immune system diseases and are at risk of complications from COVID-19, provided their 3rd dose or the previous dose was at least five months ago.
