HSBC’s Branch Banking Hours To Change

As of Monday [May 11], HSBC’s Harbourview, St. Georges and Somerset branches will open on weekdays from 9.00am through 1.00pm “to provide limited banking services to the public.”

A spokesperson said, “HSBC Bermuda announced today that, effective Monday 11th May, the HSBC Harbourview, St. Georges and Somerset branches will open every weekday from 9.00am through 1.00pm to provide limited banking services to the public.

“Customers are asked to strictly observe the 9.00am to 10.00am scheduled dedicated time for seniors, as well as to maintain social distancing practices. To protect the health of the Bank’s customers and employees and the wider community, all customers are required to wear facial coverings or masks, in line with government advice.

“The Bank will continue to provide limited banking services in the branches.

“For individuals, the services available are cheque deposit and cash withdrawal for non-debit card holders, statement printing to support submissions for Bermuda Government unemployment support, collection of debit and/or credit cards and collection of HSBC security devices to enable online banking.

“Our customers are advised that pre-orders for cash withdrawals and statement prints can be made by calling 299 5959.

“The Bank continues to offer banking services online and through HSBC ATMs. The HSBC Bermuda Contact Center continues to be available to support our customers during normal business hours.

“Customers may follow us on Twitter and Facebook for ongoing HSBC updates. Customers who are experiencing financial difficulties are invited to contact their banking Relationship Manager; call 299 5959 for assistance or send an email to hsbc.debt.relief@hsbc.bm.”
