Skyport Magic Mile Cancelled Due To Covid-19

The Skyport Magic Mile has been cancelled as a precaution due to health concerns regarding Covid-19.

The event is organized by the Bermuda Pacers Track Club and sanctioned by the Bermuda National Athletics Association featuring more than 500 young people aged four to 15 years old participating each year in their respective age groups.

It is in its second year sponsored by Skyport and was due to be held on Saturday, March 21. All participants who registered for this year will be automatically entered for next year.

A spokesperson for Skyport and Bermuda Pacers Track Club says: “We regret to inform the community that we have cancelled the Skyport Magic Mile. Per the Bermuda Government’s recommendation to cancel events of 50 or more people, we decided to act in the best interest of the public. We look forward to hosting the event in 2021.”

A date for the 2021 Skyport Magic Mile will be announced in the new year.
