Age Concern Launches Covid-19 Booster Hotline

Starting on Monday [Nov 22] people aged 50+ will have the option of calling Age Concern’s Covid-19 Booster Hotline to receive information on the Covid-19 vaccine, and register for their booster shot appointment over the phone.

A spokesperson said, “Beginning Monday, November 22nd, members of the public, aged 50+ who have been fully vaccinated for at least six months, will have the option of calling Age Concern’s Covid-19 Booster Hotline to receive information on the Covid-19 vaccine, and register for their booster shot appointment over the phone.

“Simply call 238-7525 between 2:00pm and 4:00pm from Monday to Friday to speak to an Age Concern representative who will record your necessary information and register your appointment through their partnership with the Ministry of Health.

“Age Concern’s first vaccination hotline succeeded in registering 492 people for their vaccinations, all of whom are now eligible to receive their booster shot. We are looking forward to offering not only our original hotline callers, but all eligible 50+ members of the public the opportunity to further protect themselves by receiving their Covid-19 booster shot,” Age Concern Business Development Manager Callan Bassett said.
