BAMZ To Remain Closed Until January 25

The Bermuda Aquarium, Museum, and Zoo [BAMZ] will remain closed to the general public until January 25th, 2021 to “limit potential exposure to animals that are susceptible to coronaviruses and to ensure that the needed provision of care can be provided to its animals and fish.”

Dr. Ian Walker, the Principal Curator, explained: “Unfortunately BAMZ still faces the same concerns, in regards to ensuring the health and welfare of our animals and fish, as we did when the facility closed to the public on December 12th 2020.

“We apologize to our loyal patrons and ask for their understanding at this time as this action is being taken for the safety of the animals, members of the public who visit the zoo and animal care staff. We look forward to opening BAMZ and welcoming the public back on January 25th 2021.”
