Bermuda International Film Festival Postponed

The Bermuda International Film Festival announces that it has postponed this year’s event.

“Upon review of new restrictions to limit public gatherings, we agree the health and safety of the public must take precedence,” a spokesperson said. “BIFF was scheduled to be held March 20-26 at Speciality Cinema in Hamilton.

“Festival organisers released the following announcement: Due to the increasing threat that Covid-19 will pose a risk to our festival attendees, whether from Bermuda or overseas, we have taken a decision to postpone the festival to a date later in 2020.

“In the meantime, we will issue refunds to those ticket buyers who purchased film tickets with credit cards. Anyone who purchased tickets with cash may visit the Ptix office at 29 Front Street for a refund.”
