BNG Postpones ARTReach For Education Gala

The Bermuda National Gallery has postponed the ARTReach for Education Gala, which was scheduled for March 21.

A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda National Gallery’s ARTReach for Education Gala, sponsored by Randall & Quilter, which was scheduled for March 21, has been postponed in line with government recommendations amid growing concerns surrounding the spread of novel coronavirus and Covid-19.

“The ARTReach for Education Gala raises crucial funds for BNG education programmes, which are designed specifically to nurture creative and critical thinking in Bermuda’s school children.

“Art is a key learning vehicle for both our children and the wider community. The event will be re-scheduled at a later date to ensure the continued success of this important education platform.

“In these challenging times, art connects our communities and at this time the Bermuda National Gallery remains open. Additional sanitizing measures have been put in place to limit the potential spread of Covid-19 within our community. We will continue to monitor developments and will update you if there are any changes to gallery opening hours.
