Butterfield Bank Hours Changed To 9AM – 2PM

The Bank of Butterfield announced that beginning Monday [March 29], Butterfield Banking Centres will operate on reduced hours and their corporate offices will be temporarily closed until further notice.

A spokesperson said, “Butterfield’s Banking Centres in Hamilton [Reid Street], Somerset and St. George’s will all remain open with reduced banking hours of 9:00a.m. – 2:00p.m., Monday to Friday.

“To protect other members of the public and our staff, capacity insider our facilities will be reduced, and clients should continue to wear a mask and follow all other Covid-19 guidance when visiting Butterfield.

“Clients are again reminded to utilise Butterfield’s alternate banking channels, using any Butterfield ATM, Butterfield Online, or the Mobile Banking app wherever possible.

“In addition, clients wishing to make deposits will still also have the option of using the ‘No-Wait Deposit’ at any Butterfield Banking Centre and the ATMs at Butterfield on Reid Street, Rosebank Drive-Thru, Collectors Hill Apothecary, and Shelly Bay Marketplace.”

Michael Neff, Butterfield’s Managing Director in Bermuda, said “The safety of our clients and staff are of the utmost importance to us. Following the latest Government guidance, we have returned to a work-from-home model for the majority of our staff. We apologise for the inconvenience as we adapt to continue to serve you in a rapidly changing environment.”

“Contrary to our statement on Friday, Butterfield’s corporate offices will now also be closed, however our full team remains available to assist clients remotely. For assistance with loan enquiries, clients should call [441] 298 4799. Corporate Banking and Private Banking clients should contact their Relationship Managers.
