Government House announced that 15,210 more vaccines are scheduled to arrive on the British Airways flight on Thursday [March 18] noting that “the arrival of the fourth shipment brings the number of vaccinations supplied free of charge by the UK Government to over 55,000.”
In a social media post, Government House said, “Government House is happy to announce that a further 15,210 Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines and ancillary equipment are scheduled to arrive on the British Airways flight on Thursday evening, 18 March.
“The arrival of the fourth shipment brings the number of vaccinations supplied free of charge by the UK Government to over 55,000, providing nearly half of the population of Bermuda with the opportunity to be vaccinated.”
