The Bermuda Health Council advised that they have “removed the Genrui Antigen Test Kit from the approved list of Covid-19 antigen test kits until further notice.”
A spokesperson said, “The Health Products Regulatory Authority [HPRA] has encouraged the public to remove the product due to hundreds of users complaints about false positive results. For questions or concerns, please contact the Health Council by phone at 292-6420 or by email at healthcouncil@bhec.bm.
“Please note: SARS-CoV-2 Antigen test kits that are not explicitly listed on our website, are not allowed to be sold within or imported into Bermuda for screening against SARS-CoV-2 in any setting.”
