The Argus’ Thrive Programme donated healthy snacks and water for the Close To Home Mobile Vaccination Programme.
A spokesperson said, “Argus’ Thrive, a health and wellness programme that supports your overall well-being is giving back to the community with a donation of healthy snacks and water for the Close to Home Mobile Vaccination Programme.
Dr. Ricky Brathwaite, Health Council CEO said: “We talk about vaccines, due to the devastations that this virus is having on families and communities globally; but we also know that making health choices within our daily routines are important predictors of our health outcomes. During our Close to Home Programme, we are emphasizing positive communication between residents and healthcare workers, the importance of hydration and good nutrition, and doing joyful things that make our mental health stronger. Individuals, providers and corporate partners are coming together to reduce the anxieties that come with getting a jab. This is truly what we believe as the best of public health.”
“We would like to thank Argus’ Thrive Programme for donating bottles of water, unsalted almonds, low salt popcorn, and protein bars. We appreciate the community coming together at such a critical time under a common cause. We again want to thank the hundreds of residents that are meeting us in the community and sharing 15 to 20 minutes of Bermuda’s spirit,” stated Dr. Brathwaite.
“The Bermuda Health Council extends their gratitude to the Argus’ Thrive Programme for their kind donation. We are thrilled to have stakeholders within the health system contribute to this very important programme.
