BELCO has provided several options for customers to view and pay their bills without visiting the main office which will be closed to walk-ins as of Friday, April 3rd at 3.30pm.
A spokesperson said, “BELCO has provided several options for customers to view and pay their bills without visiting the main office which will be closed to walk-ins as of Friday, April 3rd at 3.30 pm for the duration of Bermuda’s state of emergency.
“Customers can sign-up for an account at www.belco.bm where they can view their account balance. They can also send an email to info@belco.bm to sign up for e-billing and bills will be e-mailed to them.
“Customers may also call 299-2800 between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm and a Customer Service Representative will be able to provide their outstanding balance.
“BELCO bill payments may be made online at www.belco.bm using Mastercard, Visa or America Express and the fees will be waived.
“Customers can also sign-up for on-demand debit and direct debit services or opt to pay through local online banking or via an ATM.
“Our staff remain available via telephone at 299-2800 [Customer Experience] and 299-2801 [Credit], via email at info@belco.bm or through the BELCO website.”
BELCO President Dennis Pimentel said: “I want to assure everyone in Bermuda that we have implemented our emergency protocols at BELCO and are committed to maintaining electricity supply to our valued customers.
