In an effort to mitigate any health risk associated with Family Centre has decided to move to remote services in order to continue to care for its clients.
A spokesperson said, “Family Centre has made the decision to move to remote services in order to continue to care for its clients, while adhering to the guidelines of the Bermuda Government to mitigate any health risk to clients and staff.
“This will take effect as of Friday, March 20th. Families will be able to receive therapeutic care by remote access. We have established specific protocols and procedures in best practices to support staff as they work remotely.
“Staff unanimously agreed on the importance of remaining available to families within this very challenging environment. We believe this time will be particularly difficult for families needing therapeutic services. Staff are monitoring any urgent needs of families, and we are grateful to those donors who have already offered to provide assistance.
“The staff encourages the community to practice wisdom, safety, to be with family, and to hold faith that Bermuda will get through this trying time.”
