The Bermuda Government is spotlighting some of the health professionals who have helped during the pandemic, with one of the first in their series highlighting Community Health Nurse Brittany Darko.
Ms. Darko’s Covid-19 Health Profile says, “Bermudian Brittany Darko had only recently joined the Island’s team of Community Health Nurses when she was asked to assist on the front-lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the Epidemiology & Surveillance Unit.
“Initially, she aided the Nurse Epidemiologist in her duties and shadowed her during key meetings. But when the demands of the unit increased, she took on more responsibility, first collecting routine health data and investigating cases of illnesses other than the coronavirus.”
