The coronavirus vaccine is now available at the Hamilton Health Clinic every Tuesday from 9am to 2pm.
A Government spokesperson said, “Starting November 14th, the Pfizer-BioNTech original Adult formulation, and Moderna Bivalent coronavirus vaccines are available at the Hamilton Health Clinic, #3 Reid Street, every Tuesday from 9 am – 2 pm.
“These vaccinations are for those persons who are uninsured or insured with HIP or FutureCare, and by appointment only, with no walk-ins. Call 278-6470 for assistance in scheduling an appointment.
“Other insured persons can contact healthcare providers who are offering the COVID-19 vaccine. To view a list of private healthcare providers offering the Covid-19 vaccine, go to https://bhec.bm/covid-testing-facilities/
“Vaccines are offered to Bermuda’s residents who meet the following criteria:
- “Patients aged 5 to 11 years old are eligible for a 1st or 2nd dose only. The time between doses must be at least 21 days.
- “Patients aged 12 and above are eligible for 1st, 2nd or 3rd dose. The time between the 1st and 2nd dose must be at least 21 days. The time between the 2nd dose and 3rd dose booster must be at least 5 months.
- “Residents 50 years or older, and immunocompromised residents are eligible for a 4th or subsequent dose of the COVID-19 vaccine provided their 3rd dose or previous dose was at least 5 months ago.
- “Health and essential care workers are eligible for a 4th or subsequent dose of the COVID-19 vaccine provided their 3rd dose or previous dose was at least 5 months ago”
