The Government has confirmed the sad news that Bermuda has experienced five more coronavirus-related deaths, bringing the total death toll to 87.
Minister of Health, Kim Wilson said, “It distresses me to report again that since our last update, Bermuda experienced five more coronavirus-related deaths. My sincere condolences go out to the families and friends who have lost loved ones. Although our number of active cases is trending in the right direction, we are still experiencing deaths, and that is very sad.”
The island has now recorded a total of 87 Covid related deaths since the pandemic began in 2020, with the majority of them in recent weeks, as the death toll was 33 on August 30.
This was part of the full Covid results statement, which we will update with shortly.
