Fairmont Southampton is asking people across the island to honk their horns or play loud music for five minutes today [April 24] at 5.00pm to “honour essential workers in Bermuda for the extraordinary work that they are doing” during the Covid-19 pandemic.
A spokesperson said, “We have initiated a groundswell movement to honour essential workers in Bermuda for the extraordinary work that they are doing. We ask that everyone honks their horns or plays their music out loud at 5.00pm.”
