The Government has issued an advisory about upcoming Covid-19 testing sites and mobile vaccinations availablity.
A Government spokesperson said, “The next Close to Home mobile vaccinations will be at Washington Mall this Saturday, July 24, in the space behind Gibbons Home Store and across from Gold Standard from 10 am – 2 pm.
“Additionally, for Bermuda Government employees, first dose vaccinations are available tomorrow, July 23, at the Department of Communications, 1st floor, Global House, next to the Wesley Methodist Church, from 11 am – 3 pm.
“There will be doctors on-site to answer any questions you have, and you don’t need an appointment. You can just show up and roll up your sleeve.
“We recommend the Close to Home mobile vaccination programme as an ideal opportunity to learn more for those people who want to hear about the Covid-19 vaccine from a trusted source.
“Please bring ID when coming to the vaccine centres.
Covid-19 Testing
“During the week of Cup Match, Covid-19 testing sites will be open from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Test-based Safekeys, which are required to attend Cup Match, are valid for 72 hours [3 days after the test day].
“If you are tested on Monday and receive your Safekey that day, it will expire on Thursday at midnight. If you test and receive your Safekey on Tuesday, it will expire at midnight on Friday. If you intend to go to the match on both days and attend a Safekey event on Friday evening or Saturday, you will need to get your Safekey on Wednesday, which will expire on Saturday at midnight.

- Bulls Head Car Park – Monday to Saturday
- Old AS Coopers Shop, Clocktower Mall
- Dockyard – Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- Penno’s Wharf, St. Georges – Tuesday and Thursday
“Everyone is encouraged to book an appointment online [https://bdagovCovid.resqwest.com/web/] or call the hotline if you require assistance 444-2498.
“Perot Post Office is operating 7 days a week, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. This testing site is used for travellers [visitors and residents flying into Bermuda] and outbound travellers [visitors only]. This location will be utilised for their required tests after arrival and outbound test and will only provide nasopharyngeal [np] and oropharyngeal [op] testing.
“Please show up for your Covid test at your appointed time only.”
