Noting that an “employee in our retail location has tested positive for Covid-19,” Digicel said they have closed both their Digicel Retail Store and BTC Payment Centre “in order for employees to be tested, to deep clean the facilities and to ensure there is no further risk.”
A spokesperson said, “Digicel is in receipt of information that a customer facing employee in our retail location has tested positive for Covid-19.
“Out of an abundance of caution for the employees and customers, Digicel has closed both its Digicel Retail Store and BTC Payment Centre. This action is in order for employees to be tested, to deep clean the facilities and to ensure there is no further risk.
“The health and safety of Digicel & BTC’s employees and customers is paramount. It is advised that all of Bermuda comply with the government’s Covid-19 regulations. If you exhibit any flu-like symptoms, or have been around anyone that was or is currently sick, please do your part and self-isolate until you’re able to get the appropriate testing.
