Premier David Burt confirmed that the “Ministers of the Government elected to take a 15% reduction on their ministerial salaries.”
Speaking at the most recent [May 20] press briefing, Premier Burt said, “Therefore, at yesterday’s Cabinet meeting Ministers of the Government elected to take a 15% reduction on their ministerial salaries. The Government has been clear throughout that we will not ask Public Officers to do what we are not willing to do ourselves.”
