In light of the ongoing pandemic, both Saltus Grammar School and Warwick Academy have made the decision to move classes to virtual platforms.
A Saltus spokesperson said, “Saltus has made the decision to transition to a virtual learning platform as of tomorrow, March 17, 2020.
“Attendance and all classes will continue remotely through our school’s virtual model until further notice. Non-essential visitors to Saltus’ campuses will be discouraged while vendors/suppliers to the school may conduct business as usual.”
In a separate statement, a Warwick Academy spokesperson said, “Warwick Academy has made the decision to start a three day transition to remote learning. Students are in tomorrow [Tuesday] and then staff only are in Wednesday and Thursday to complete their preparedness for the shift. Attendance and all classes officially commence remotely on Friday 20th March until further notice.”
BHS has already announced similar plans, saying: ”Provisions have been put in place to allow for learning to continue at home. Primary students will be sent home with work packs and their resources will be shared on our virtual learning platform and parent portal, Firefly. Secondary students will continue with their e-learning through Google Classrooms and Managebac.”
