In an online post, Government House said, “A further shipment of 14,040 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine arrived on last night’s British Airways flight. This is the 11th shipment of vaccines to Bermuda following the first delivery on 9 January 2021.
“As with all previous shipments, the provision and transportation of the vaccine and ancillary equipment has been provided by the UK Government at no cost to the people of Bermuda.”
We expect to receive updated vaccination statistics this week, however as of the most recent statistics from December, Bermuda has administered a total of 115,145 vaccinations; 72.4% of the population has received one dose, 71.0% have had two doses, while 34.9% of the population have received a booster.
