[Updated] According to promotions circulating on messaging apps and social media, another car/bike rally is apparently being planned for Sunday, May 16th.
The first rally — dubbed the ‘Bermuda Freedom Car/Bike Rally’ and held to protest various aspects related to the pandemic — was held on Sunday, May 2nd, with the event seeing over 200 vehicles take part, traveling all over the island for over three hours.
The new rally being planned is scheduled to start at 12 noon and the apparent route being circulated indicates they plan to travel islandwide again.
Update May 12, 11.28AM: The organisers have announced that the start has changed from Victor Scott — somewhat ironically as it is being used as a vaccination center that day — to the Dellwood school field.
“The Bermuda Government has not changed its stance regarding its tyrannical approach to Covid-19,” the organisers social media page states, “In response, the Bermuda Freedom Alliance [BFA] will hold another Car/Bike Rally on Sunday, May 16th, 2021. We call for all in Bermuda who opposes ALL forms of discrimination and tyranny to join us in asserting our freedoms and to participate in further action beyond.”
