A video was recently shared by Government detailing Michelle Barnett’s time with Covid-19, highlighting her journey from diagnosis to recovery.
Ms. Barnett was placed in the intensive care unit after being diagnosed in April 2020, with a ventilator in place for 41 days. After the ventilator was removed, recovery began by having her bear her own weight.
Continuing to improve, Ms. Barnett was moved to the hospital’s main medical unit before being discharged from hospital on July 4, 2020.
One year later, Ms. Barnett says, “My family; thank God I get to be with them again.”
