Bermuda’s mass vaccination programme ended on June 30th and it ”surpassed the World Health Organisation’s goal of 70 per cent immunization of a population,” Minister of Health Kim Wilson said.

FDA: ‘Additional Dose For Immunocompromised’
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration amended the emergency use authorizations for the Pfizer and Moderna Covid-19 vaccines to “allow for the use of an additional dose in certain immunocompromised individuals, specifically, solid organ transplant recipients or those who are diagnosed with conditions that are considered to have an equivalent level of immunocompromise.”

11pm – 5am Curfew Takes Effect
Due to a spike in cases, new regulations are in effect: a curfew from 11pm until 5am daily, all businesses required to close at 10pm, and the maximum people allowed to gather is reduced to 10.
Bus Service Suspended Until Further Notice
After a member of staff tested positive for Covid-19, the bus service will be “suspended until further notice,” the Ministry confirmed.
